    Silena Murrell is a talented R&B artist that shot to fame when she wrote The Braxtons’ hit single, “Never Say Goodbye”. Her musical influences include Chaka Kahn and Karen Clarke.

    She is mostly known by her debut single “Bring It Home”.
    Born in New Jersey and raised in California, Silena Murrell showed artistic talent from an early age, soloing frequently at her church and performing in musicals before she left her home to attend college.

    As well as completing her undergraduate degree, Murrell seriously pursued music, which paid off after graduation. Murrell was discovered by Universal chairman Doug Morris.
