    Born on May 27, 1972 in Juazeiro, Bahia, Brazil, Sangalo developed a passion for music from a young age. She gained recognition in her middle school years, often performing at school events and gatherings in her hometown.

    In 1992, Sangalo had her first major concert in Salvador, Bahia, which brought her fame and a contract with Sony Music.
