Biography of Scott Adkins

Scott Edward Adkins was born on June 17, 1976, in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, West Midlands, England, UK.

He comes from a family of butchers, but Scott chose a different path early on in his life when he developed a passion for martial arts.

During his time at Bishop Vesey's Grammar School in Sutton Coldfield, 10-year-old Scott and his older brother Craig were introduced to judo by their father.

Scott instantly fell in love with the martial art and spent years honing his skills. At the age of 14, he began training in taekwondo under the guidance of Ron Sergi, idolizing martial arts legends Bruce Lee and Jean-Claude Van Damme.

At 16, Scott started practicing kickboxing under Anthony Jones and developed an interest in acting around the same time.
