She is well credited for covering the strongest stories like the Boston Marathon terrorist attack, the tragedy at Sandy Hook, the discovery of the Cleveland kidnapping victims, same-sex marriage decisions, and the U.S Supreme Court Affordable Care Act. 

The former CNN correspondent is also popular for hosting the 'Running Mate' regarding the presidential race back in 2012.
