    Shobu Kapoor is an Amerind British actress. She is most famed for playing the role of Gita Kapoor, the long-suffering wife of supermarket trader Sanjay (Deepak Verma), in grandeur BBC soap opera EastEnders from 1993 to 1998.[1]
